The Interdisciplinary Studies degree program approaches education from a Christian standpoint. The course provided students with a solid foundation for understanding elementary educational development and behavior. Courses allow students to participate in education by evaluating related methods and interventions such as differentiated learning and direct instruction.
The program covers Christian education theories and methodology, which will help students work in Christian schools, churches, and other organizations. Following completion of the Bachelor of Science degree, students may continue for a fifth year to earn elementary education licensure through the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program.
